Title: Application of Artificial Intelligence in 3D Printing of Concrete: Material Optimization and Quality Control.
Abstract: 3D printing of concrete (3DCP) is expected to transform the construction sector as it offers design flexibility, material economy and sustainability. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in this field dynamically supports the automatic optimization of the quality and strength of structures, enabling continuous monitoring and adjustment of material composition and printing parameters.
Applications of AI in the optimization of concrete mix properties and real-time quality control, achieved through machine learning models and computer vision systems, will be presented. Supported by state-of-the-art research and applications, this study utilizes real-time data collected during printing to ensure consistency and accuracy in construction quality and reduce human interference.
