Title: Empowering Educators: Integrating AI, Disruptive Tech, and Ethical Tech Use in Math, Science, and STEAM for 9th-12th Graders.

Abstract: This workshop equips educators with the knowledge and tools to integrate artificial intelligence, disruptive technologies, and ethical tech practices into math, science, and STEAM education. Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, participants will explore AI's potential for lesson planning, differentiated learning, assessment creation, and providing feedback. The session emphasizes the ethical considerations of AI integration while showcasing its ability to enhance personalized learning, increase student engagement, and streamline instructional processes.

BIO:Mr. Thymianos holds a B.Sc. in Physics with a specialization in Astrophysics, Astronomy, and Mechanics. During and after his undergraduate studies, he actively participated in numerous space-related projects, including the construction and launch of Greece's first High Power Model Rocket.

Mr. Thymianos has been a passionate Science and Mathematics educator since his early academic years, with experience teaching a variety of curricula at the secondary level. He strives to go beyond traditional teaching methods by organizing innovative projects for his students and engaging them in international competitions. Notably, he and his students earned second place nationally in a STEAM competition. He has also participated in conferences and seminars around the world, constantly seeking to improve and evolve as education and the world change.

Mr. Thymianos embraces the quote by B. Franklin: "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn."

Having taught in various institutes and international schools in Greece and Spain, he is currently teaching at ACS Athens, where he instructs courses in Algebra 1, Physics 1, Technology 8, and STEAM. Additionally, he has participated in various conferences as a presenter, focusing on education and the integration of AI.
