Title: EMERGENT DEVELOPMENTS IN AI AND MACHINE LEARNING: A Reliability framework on ML Modelling and Quantum Inspired ML Algorithms to improve problem solving capacities.

Abstract: As machine learning (ML) continues to revolutionize industries, from healthcare and finance to autonomous systems and natural language processing, ensuring the reliability and the efficiency of these models has become a critical concern. Reliability in ML refers to the consistency, robustness, and trustworthiness of model performance, particularly in real-world applications where data is dynamic, noisy, or incomplete. Regarding Reliability, this keynote speech will explore the challenges associated with building reliable ML models, including issues related to data quality, model interpretability, bias, and overfitting. Additionally, it will highlight recent advances in addressing these challenges, such as the use of uncertainty quantification and model validation techniques. The speech will focus on a recent new framework, developed by the speaker, for modelling reliability of ML models based on interval arithmetic based knowledge representations. On the other hand, regarding advancements on the efficiency of ML models this keynote speech will focus on Quantum inspired computations. Quantum computing is poised to transform the field of machine learning (ML) by unlocking new capabilities through quantum-inspired algorithms. While full-scale quantum computing is still in development, quantum-inspired algorithms leverage principles from quantum mechanics to enhance classical machine learning techniques, offering the potential for breakthroughs in speed, efficiency, and problem-solving complexity. This keynote speech will brief some of the advancements of quantum inspired ML models in practical applications attempted by the speaker.
